الإنفطار | Al-Infitar
The Splittingبِسْمِ ٱللَّـهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
In the name of God, the Almighty, the Merciful.
إِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ ٱنفَطَرَتْ
1 When the sky splits open,
وَإِذَا ٱلْكَوَاكِبُ ٱنتَثَرَتْ
2 And when the stars are scattered,
وَإِذَا ٱلْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْ
3 And when the seas are made to gush forth,
وَإِذَا ٱلْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْ
4 And when the graves are overturned,
عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَّا قَدَّمَتْ وَأَخَّرَتْ
5 A soul will know what it has sent ahead and held back.
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ ٱلْكَرِيمِ
6 O man: what deluded thee concerning thy Lord, the Noble,
ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّىٰكَ فَعَدَلَكَ
7 Who created thee and fashioned thee and proportioned thee in balance,
فِىٓ أَىِّ صُورَةٍ مَّا شَآءَ رَكَّبَكَ
8 In what form He willed assembling thee?
كَلَّا بَلْ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِٱلدِّينِ
9 No, indeed! The truth is, you deny the Judgment.
وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحَـٰفِظِينَ
10 And there are over you custodians,
كِرَامًا كَـٰتِبِينَ
11 Noble and writing.
يَعْلَمُونَ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ
12 They know what you do.
إِنَّ ٱلْأَبْرَارَ لَفِى نَعِيمٍ
13 The virtuous will be in bliss,
وَإِنَّ ٱلْفُجَّارَ لَفِى جَحِيمٍ
14 And the licentious will be in Hell.
يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ ٱلدِّينِ
15 They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment,
وَمَا هُمْ عَنْهَا بِغَآئِبِينَ
16 And they will not therefrom be absent.
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ
17 And what will convey to thee what the Day of Judgment is?
ثُمَّ مَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ
18 Then what will convey to thee what the Day of Judgment is! —
يَوْمَ لَا تَمْلِكُ نَفْسٌ لِّنَفْسٍ شَيْـًٔا وَٱلْأَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلَّـهِ
19 The day no soul will possess power for another soul in anything, and the command, that day, belongs to God.
