القدر | Al-Qadr

The Determination

  • بِسْمِ ٱللَّـهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

    In the name of God, the Almighty, the Merciful.

  • إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ فِى لَيْلَةِ ٱلْقَدْرِ

    1 We sent it down on the Night of Determination.

  • وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ

    2 And what will convey to thee what the Night of Determination is?

  • لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ

    3 The Night of Determination is better than a thousand months —

  • تَنَزَّلُ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍ

    4 (The angels and the Spirit descend therein by the leave of their Lord) — of every sort of affair.

  • سَلَـٰمٌ هِىَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ ٱلْفَجْرِ

    5 “Peace!” It is until the emergence of dawn.
